7. Kaniya exudes energy and fun! She is bubbly, outspoken and loves to laugh. She engages in great conversation. She very much enjoys singing and dancing. Kaniya likes being active and says that she likes playing basketball and softball.

   Kaniya is passionate about her future career choice of cosmetology and it shows. She designed an amazing project for her cosmetology class that “wowed” everyone. Any opportunity she has to style hair or paint nails, she thoroughly enjoys! Kaniya is also gifted academically and receives excellent grades.

   One other thing about Kaniya, she loves to crochet and knit! Her current house parent has taught her to both knit and crochet and Kaniya says she could “do that all day.” She enjoys learning new techniques and finds the skill “fun.”
